The “Every generation leaves its mark. Education shapes its legacy” campaign was launched as the flagship global advocacy initiative of the 5th Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen. 

Conceived as a powerful social change communication effort, it underscores education as the cornerstone of peacebuilding, international cooperation, and the prevention of conflict, disinformation, and injustice. This global initiative calls on leaders, educators, and societies to embrace education not only as a fundamental right, but as humanity’s most effective tool for shaping a peaceful, ethical, and resilient future: “Every generation leaves its mark. Education shapes its legacy.” 

The campaign launch set the tone for the Summit’s discussions and became a rallying call to the world, uniting voices behind the shared commitment to ensure every child has access to inclusive, human-centred education that nurtures critical thinking, ethical leadership, and societal resilience.
