On 31 October – 3 November, Ukrainian animation films Deep Love by Mykyta Lyskov, The Cord by Oleksandr Bubnov and Until It Turns Black by Anastasiia Falileieva took part in “Rex” Animation Film Festival.  

Works by modern Ukrainian animation film directors received positive feedback by Swedish, Ukrainian and international viewers.

Ukrainian community held a meeting with Anastasiia Falileieva, director of animation cartoons, stop-motion animator and founder of “Studio plastic bag”. Her trip to Stockholm was sponsored by Open Ukraine Foundation.

Ukrainian Institute in Sweden together with the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Sweden support the participation of Ukrainian animation films in annual “Rex” festival. We look forward to the continuation of this tradition and encourage Ukrainian artists to participate in cultural and art projects of “Rex” Animation Film Festival in the future!
