On 3 November, within the scope of the initiative by Ukrainian Women’s Organization in Sweden “Ukrainians of Sweden: Great, Known and Unknown”, a commemoration of the memory of Ukrainians, laid to rest in the Stockholm Skogskyrkogården city cemetery, was held.

Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Sweden Ms.Olena Polunina and Chairwoman of the Ukrainian Women’s Organization in Sweden Ms.Zoryana Kiktsö together with the representatives of the Ukrainian community in Sweden paid tribute to Ukrainians, laid to rest in the city cemetery - Bohdan and Olena Kentrzhynsky, Osyp and Elsa Maydanyuk, Nadia Schusledder, Olena Berhede.

“Ukrainians of Sweden: Great, Known and Unknown” is an initiative by Ukrainian Women’s Organization in Sweden, aimed to research and update information about Ukrainians laid to rest in Sweden, being in touch with their families and preserving graves.
