On 23 September, reception of the Embassy of Ukraine in Sweden, on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine, was held in Stockholm. 

Minister for Defence of the Kingdom of Sweden Peter Hultqvist, members of the Swedish Riksdag, representatives of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden, diplomatic corps accredited in the Sweden, politicians, civic activists and members of the religious community, businessmen and businesswomen, inter alia, President of Westinghouse, took part in the reception. Leadership and members of the board of the Ukrainian community organizations in Sweden, Father Andrii, rector of the Ukrainian mission of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church in Sweden, joined the event. 

Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Sweden Ms.Olena Polunina addressed the distinguished audience. 

Photo exhibition "Life on the Occupied Territories" by photocorrespondent, Ukrainian volunteer Mr.Dmytro Muravskii, presented current developments on the ground in the Ukrainian territories, which are temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation.
