May 6th, 2010 Ambassador of Ukraine in Sweden Yevgen Perebyinis took part in the аnnual meeting of the Swedish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce where the representatives of the Ministry of foreign affairs of Sweden as well as leading Swedish companies, in particular East Capital, Swedbank, Ericsson, Oriflame, Nordea, Electrolux were present.

The Ambassador of Ukraine informed the businessmen about the political and economic situation as well as about investment opportunities of Ukraine and drew attention to the perspectives of Ukrainian-Swedish economic and trade relations. He urged the leading companies of Sweden which is today in the top-ten biggest investors in Ukraine to be more active on the Ukrainian market.

The participants of the meeting took interest in the social and economic processes in Ukraine. The Sides agreed to arrange a number of meetings to give the Swedish businesses a deeper insight into investment opportunities in Ukraine.
