Strong support from the Swedish public – SEK 15 million allocated to five projects to keep Ukraine warm
It has been two weeks since the fundraising campaign “Ge Ukraina Värme” was launched by Radiohjälpen on SVT and a public response has been incredible. As a result, 15 million SEK (about 1,4 million EUR) are already collected to help Ukrainian people (13 million coming from donations and 2 additional allocated from Radiohjälpen fund).
As campaign continues, to insure that so much needed help reaches Ukraine fast, Radiohjälpen added 2 more million from their Fund and granted support to five projects implemented by experienced partner organizations. The efforts focus on the most vulnerable regions, including Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Dnipro, as well as the capital, Kyiv.
