On September 11, 2025 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Sweden Svitlana Zalishchuk officially presented her credentials to His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden.

The ceremony provided an excellent opportunity to reaffirm Ukraine’s profound gratitude for the unwavering political, military, and humanitarian support that the Kingdom of Sweden has extended to our country since the outset of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

During the audience with His Majesty the King, Ambassador Zalishchuk emphasized that the friendship between the two States is strong and time-tested, and that the bonds between our peoples have grown even closer during this extraordinarily difficult period for Ukraine.

She has also assured that one of the key goals of her mission will be the further strengthening of the Ukrainian-Swedish partnership.
