Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko and his colleagues from the EU Eastern Partnership initiative took part in the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership. Events are initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden following the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden Ann Linde.
Ministers underscored the importance and efficiency of the Eastern Partnership initiative implementation for the countries of the region, summarized activities and identified achievements, as well as determined future policy directions.
In his speech at the Ministerial conference on the future of the Eastern Partnership, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko emphasized that Ukraine and other associated partners strive to achieve the EU membership prospectives and provide deepening of the differentiation, which is to be defined by the partners.
Minister stated that Ukraine seeks a deeper sectoral integration with the EU. In this context, Vadym Prystaiko also mentioned Ukraine's interest in reviewing and modernizing of the EU Association Agreement and conditions for the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area.
