On 14 October, Day of the defender of Ukraine and Day of Cossacks, representatives of Ukrainian community organizations - Ukrainian Youth in Sweden, Ukrainian community in Sweden, Ukrainian mission of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic church in Sweden, together with the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Sweden visited Linköping.

Its City Library preserves one of the most important Cossack time historic pieces - mace of Hetman Ivan Mazepa.

Ukrainian delegation learned more about Ukrainian-Swedish relations, first political immigration to Sweden and contributions of the Exile government under Pylyl Orlyk to strengthening of Ukraine’s sovereignty and independence.
