On 3 September, Professor Emeritus of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Board Member of the Ukrainian Jewish Encounter Mr.Wolf Moscovich, presented his book “Yiddish and Bukovina” in Stockholm.

The event was organized by the European Institute for Jewish Studies in Sweden – Paideia, Bajit, Ukrainian Jewish Encounter, Ukrainian Institute in Sweden, and Jewish and Ukrainian communities, and attended by researches and experts, Swedish media circles.

Charge d’affaires a.i. Ms.Olena Polunina welcomed Prof. Moscovich and underscored the importance of preserving Jewish-Ukrainian heritage.

Ukrainian Institute in Sweden presented musical performance by Pasichnyk sisters. Short-film “Glimpses of Yiddish Czernowitz” was shown.
