August 28th 2010 Ambassador of Ukraine in Sweden Yevgen Perebyinis took part in the opening of the exhibition of icons by gifted Ukrainian painter Alicia Neborak.

Alicia Neborak born in Lviv, Ukraine started painting icons after a complicated operation. As she says this work has inspired her to overcome her ailment and she hopes that her icons will give strength and optimism to other people.

Ambassador Yevgen Perebyinis congratulated the painter with success of her first exhibition and emphasized professionalisms of exhibited works.

The concert by Ukrainian opera-singer Irina Shevchenko-Sjökvist (Simferopil) took place in the frames of the opening ceremony.
