November 30, 2010 Ambassador of Ukraine in Sweden Yevgen Perebyinis met State Secretary of Prime-Minister of Sweden Katarina Areskoug Mascarenhas.

During the meeting acceleration of Ukrainian-Swedish political dialogue as well as deepening of relation between the two countries in political, economic and other spheres have been discussed.

The Sides noted that during recent years bilateral dialogue between Ukraine and Sweden has demonstrated positive dynamics included the planned visit of Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr Kostyantyn Gryshchenko in December this year.

K.Areskoug Mascarenhas appraised results of the recent EU-Ukraine summit. She emphasized that Sweden continues to provide comprehensive assistance to European aspirations of Ukraine and sees it as the key partner in Eastern Europe.
