March 11, 2011 in Stockholm in the premises of the Embassy of Ukraine 150th anniversary of death of the great Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko was commemorated. The exhibition  «Мonumental Shevchenkiana»  by the Ukrainian artist Ruslan Telipsky was opened organized by the Embassy, Association of Ukrainian women in Scandinavia and Ukrainian Community in Sweden. The unique exhibition includes photos of monuments and sculptures to Taras Shevchenko all around Ukraine and other countries of the world. During March the exhibition will take place in Malmo (15th March) and Gothenburg (20th March). During the evening Ambassador of Ukraine in Sweden awarded with diplomas winners of the international competition in Ukrainian language – students of the Ukrainian children and youth organization  «Dzherelo»  (Stockholm).
