On 24 August, we celebrate 35 years of Ukraine’s restored independence
Today, our independence carries an even deeper meaning. It stands as a symbol of our unwavering determination to defend our freedom, our values, and our right to choose our own future.
We are sincerely grateful to everyone who stands with Ukraine. Your solidarity, support, and friendship give us strength and remind us that we are not alone.
To mark Ukraine’s Independence Day, as well as the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine on 23 August, Ukrainian communities around the world are organising events, concerts, and demonstrations.
We invite everyone to join the events taking place in cities across Sweden.
