On 10 October, Director of the National Institute for Strategic Studies Oleksandr Lytvynenko took part in the international high-level conference “Security Challenges in the Black and Baltic Sea Regions”, organized by Swedish Atlantic Council in Stockholm.
In the course of the conference, Oleksandr Lytvynenko presented the views upon security situation in the region. He underscored that only a successful region with strong countries may become a responsible response to the challenges and threats. He drew particular attention to the issues of peace building in the Donbas.
During his meetings with the representatives of the Folke Bernadotte Academy, Oleksandr Lytvynenko discussed future prospects of the projects aimed at social adaption of internally displaced persons in Ukraine and holding of joint events on security related issues.
