On 24 August, on the Day of Independence of Ukraine, Ukrainian athletes Olesya Verhun, Ivan Pauchak and Viktor Tereshko won 21 km marathon in Stockholm. Diplomatic staff of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Sweden greeted the winners of the run, who, irrespective of weather, mood and other obstacles, made victorious athletic achievements.

Ukrainian patriotism of our athletes brought a cheerful atmosphere to Stockholm run-2019. 

The Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Sweden is proud of our athletes and calls on Ukrainians in Sweden to join future sports events.

Following the patriotic flag run, Embassy also joined celebrations of the Youth Scout Organization "Plast" and Ukrainian Youth of Sweden.
