On 9 August, on the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, international rally “United by the Flag” took place in one of the central squares in Stockholm.

Initiated by the Ukrainian community in Ireland, the flag of Ukraine travels around the globe, uniting Ukrainian communities in various part of the world.

On 23 August, on the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine, an official ceremony of this international initiative’s closure will be held. Military, servicemen and servicewomen of the United Forces Operation, volunteers will join the ceremony.

Peaceful wishes to Ukrainians in the world were signed by Ambassador of Ukraine to Sweden I.Sagach, chairwoman and chairman, members of the boards of the civic organizations of Ukrainians in Sweden “Ukrainian Women Organization in Sweden”, "Ukrainian Child Studio "Kvitka", “Ukrainian Youth of Sweden”, representative of the Liberal People's Party of Sweden, diplomatic staff of the Embassy of Ukraine in Sweden, Ukrainian and Swedish community of Stockholm.
