On 20-24 March, in accordance with the Bilateral Plan of Cooperation between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Sweden for 2017, the delegation of Navy Forces of Ukraine chaired by Rear Admiral Andrii Tarasov, First Deputy Commander of the Ukrainian Navy pays visit to the Kingdom of Sweden.

Command of Navy Forces of Ukraine and Navy Forces of Sweden are interested in deepening bilateral cooperation between the naval forces of both states. The Parties exchange views on the best practices of building a modern navy, on improvement combat capabilities of sailors and marine officers.

One of the most promising areas of cooperation will be the development of the navy infentary forces, of the Coast Guard Systems as well as of all necessary marine components. The joint participation of the Navy of both countries in international military exercises and exchange of military experience are also planned to be discussed.
