During an official visit to the Kingdom of Sweden Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara met with State Secretary to Prime Minister Katarina Areskoug Mascarenhas.

There was talk of interest on the agenda of relations between Ukraine and the European Union. Leonid Kozhara confirmed the willingness of Ukraine to continue the European integration course and informed the counterpart about progress made by our country in implementing systemic reforms that will transform relations with the European Union to the level of political association and economic integration. The hope was expressed about a positive decision by the Swedish government on signing the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU during the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius in November this year.

Some specific issues of further intensification of bilateral political dialogue were also discussed.
