An official visit of Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara to Sweden began on May 29 – the first visit of this level over the past decade and a half.
In Stockholm, the head of Ukrainian Foreign Ministry will hold negotiations with Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden Carl Bildt, will meet with Speaker of Riksdag Per Westerberg and several influential members of the Swedish Parliament, will meet with State Secretary to Prime Minister Katarina Areskoug Mascarenhas, will meet with representatives of leading Swedish companies that are present on the Ukrainian market.
The leading themes of the visit will be further development of Ukrainian-Swedish relations in all spheres, progress of Ukraine on the European integration course, as well as issues in the context of the continuing Ukraine’s OSCE Chairmanship.
Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara will also address at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs to the leading Swedish experts in the field of foreign policy and the diplomatic corps.
